It’s been a massive year and a half for The Chainsmokers. In addition to the 2015 hit track Roses, the pair have seen phenomenal success with multi-platinum tune Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya) and smash-hit Closer (featuring Halsey). On top of a cool one billion views on YouTube worldwide, Closer alone in sales has hit three-times platinum in New Zealand and a whopping eleven-times platinum in Australia, becoming the longest running #1 ARIA single in 2016. their recent collaboration with Coldplay, Something Just Like This, recently spent seven continuous weeks at #1 on the airplay chart.

The tour comes in support of their recently released album Memories… Do Not Open, available via Sony Music Australia. There’s no denying The Chainsmokers popularity – they’ve recently became the third group in history to have three different singles in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously (for Something Just Like This, Paris and Closer), putting them in an exclusive club with the prestigious likes of The Beatles and the Bee Gees.
