Ted Mulry Gang lead the lineup for Woodstock-inspired concert

Take a step back in time with this lineup.

Returning to Victoria for its third year, mini-festival Wanstock will bring a smattering of ’70s glam-rock favourites to the stage next month.

Led by Ted Mulry Gang, with Steve Mulry stepping in as frontman in place of his late brother and the band’s namesake, the festival is inspired by Woodstock and the heyday of music festivals.

Helping to shape the sound of Aussie guitar-driven rock and label mates with AC/DC, Ted Mulry Gang have been a huge force in the Australian music scene. Bringing their classic rock sound into a new era, TMG will showcase their timeless appeal when they hit the Wanstock stage.

Furthering the vintage rock energy, Get Rocked will also hit the festival. Featuring Hush members Les Gock and Rick Lum and The Choirboys’ Mark Gable, the band will take punters on a journey through their early years through both song and story.

Keeping the nostalgia coming, Kings of Oz will bring their renowned tribute act to the festival stage, pumping out back-to-back bangers from Cold Chisel, The Angels, AC/DC, Dragon, INXS and more.

Rounding out the lineup are metal-tinged punks City Sharps, up-and-comers The Day Dreamers and hard-rock outfit Stonetrip.

There’ll be no shortage of riffs or singalongs when this lot hit the stage.

Wanstock hits Shoppingtown Hotel, Doncaster on Saturday March 14. For tickets and more info, head to the festival website
