In the latter months of 2011, the Victorian double-bassist won the inaugural Young Elder of Jazz Commission in Melbourne. From there, Tamara has not stopped.
Using the hefty $10,000 prize money, Tamara is getting set to present a new work, Big Creatures and Little Creatures: The Modular Suite, which will be broadcasted on 3PBS and performed at the 2012 Melbourne International Jazz Festival.
