Move over Marvel.

Arts Centre Melbourne is bringing a puppet show pop concert to the stage with the Helpmann Award-nominated show Laser Beak Man.

Laser Beak Man is complete with the offbeat humour and wit that only award-winning artist Tim Sharp could provide. Set in the fictional world of Power City, Laser Beak Man keeps the city looking sharp by fighting crime and shooting lasers through, you guessed it, his beak.

Filled to the brim with a colourful cast of characters, punters will be immersed in full-stage animations and bear witness to more than 35 original puppet creations by Dead Puppet Society. What’s more, the show will be accompanied by a killer live soundtrack by Ball Park Music frontman, Sam Cromack.

This is theatre at its most colourful, musical best.

Catch Laser Beak Man at the Arts Centre Melbourne from Thursday September 19 until Sunday September 21. Tickets available via the venue website.
