Celebrate the new cycle with Sun Cycle.
A new player has thrown its hat into the New Year’s Day festival ring, and it’s taking over an iconic Melbourne institution in the process.
The aptly named Sun Cycle NYD festival is the brainchild of music collectives Crown Ruler and WAT Artists. The day festival comes complete with three stages and a huge swathe of local and international artists.
Heading to the velodrome for Sun Cycle’s debut will be Melbourne DJ CC:DISCO, Swedish producer DJ Seinfeld, Sampa the Great, Floating Points and many more. There’s only four months left until we bid adieu to the decade, so start getting your plans sorted.

Sun Cycle makes its debut on Wednesday January 1 at Coburg Velodrome. Pre-sale tickets commence Thursday August 29 and general sale kicks off Friday August 30 via the festival website.
