In celebration of a brand new TV channel.

Studio Ghibli fans will be glued to their screens during the month of July as SBS plays non-stop animated films from the beloved Japanese production company.

SBS is launching their 24-hour, free-to-air World Movies channel Monday July 1 on Channel 32. To celebrate, you’ll be able to watch Studio Ghibli cult classics, such as Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle, from 6am — 7.30pm every Saturday and Sunday in July.

The famous studio has brought many animated characters to life since 1985, so what better way to spend a weekend indoors than with a Studio Ghibli sesh.

The fun kicks off Saturday July 6, where parents and children alike will be transported to beautiful, mystical worlds from the comfort of their own home. Find movie times here.
