Debut exhibition for street artist, Phoenix.
In 2004 a fire raged through the studio of a young artist gutting it and the art within almost completely. From the ashes of this destruction rose Phoenix, the street artist.
Phoenix, as he is simply known, is a Melbourne based street artist who has gathered the burnt remains of his art along with copies of his art from the streets and brand new pieces to form his debut exhibition entitled In Here Out There.
Check out the exhibition at the Surface Pop Up Shop, 11-13 Carlisle Street, St Kilda. Opening night happens on Thursday March 10 from 6pm-8pm and will run thereafter from March 11-21. Visit www.surfacepop.com.
