Ayebatonye Abrakasa guides us through a musical podcast like no other. Join a conversation exploring the history of Bla(c)k pioneers who paved the way for contemporary music.

Four to the Floor is named for Philadelphian drummer Earl Young (The Trammps) who created the “four on the floor” beat, much-loved in electronic music. This podcast event will showcase Bla(c)k musicians and discover the importance of indigenous rhythms, jazz beats, and the embedded spirituality of Bla(c)k music whose influence is woven through today’s music. This is a space carved out for Bla(c)k artists and community to share experiences of their craft. Guests to be announced soon.
