At long last we’ve pulled our finger out and here is the result; a 13 track collection of our first 2 EPs, freshly pressed to wax.
Come and celebrate with us on a special saturday arvo at Thornbury Bowls. There’ll be a BBQ, there’ll be a raffle, plus a friendly crowd that’ll make you feel right at home.
Thornbury bowls club is a physically accessible venue, and there is a gender neutral toilet.
We’ve pulled together our favourite musos to join in the fun, including;
Truffle Pigs (Steph Hughes and Al Montfort of the beloved Dick Diver) will be playing as a duo and performing laid-back campfire bangas on acoustic guitars. The perfect way to drop in for some afternoon soul searching on the cool wooden floor of the bowlo.
Talk Show started as a spontaneous jam-based idea, where Jonny would throw spaghetti at the wall and see what stuck. Lots of amazing ideas stuck, and you’ll hear the immediacy of the band when all 4 members bring their own honest flavour to the table. Skittering drums, bendy guitar, writhing violin and groovy basslines, plus Jonny’s impassioned wails that will go straight to the heart and stir up some feelings you really needed to feel. Featuring people from Spiceworld, Old Places, Cyanide Thornton and Sweet Whirl; it’s an all-star cast!
The Sprouts make you feel like you are in the hallway past bedtime, sneaking a listen to someone figuring out songs in their room. Rob’s voice is shy and warm, it’ll float inbetween your ribs and embalm the place that really needed a hug. Songs of family, memory, life around the house. Featuring supergroup members of Chook Race, Permits, Ill Globo and Thigh Master!
