Inspired by Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Savage’, ‘Joe Exotic’ is the ultimate mash-up.
Since hitting Netflix in late March, Tiger King has become somewhat of a phenomenon. It even sparked a TikTok trend when user @calebjaxin put the popular theory that Carole Baskin killed her husband to the rhythm of Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Savage’.
Continuing the craze, Sia has jumped on board with her own Tiger King-meets-‘Savage’ mash-up, titled ‘Joe Exotic’.
Uploaded on the singer’s Twitter, the track and accompanying video clip were co-written by and feature longtime collaborator Maddie Ziegler and makeup artist Tonya Brewer.
Not only does the parody provide a good laugh, Sia has also used it as an opportunity to encourage Tiger King fans to donate to US animal charity The Humane Society.
