Texas-based SXSW is importing some serious Aussie talent for their 2019 lineup, with its third announcement featuring Angie McMahon, Kwame, Carmouflage Rose and more.
SXSW has already announced a whopping 750 artists in its lineup this year, so its reassuring some of the best and newest Aussie musicians are flying over to stake their claim. The acts listed in this announcement come from both the east and west of Australia, including a shout-out to Perth with Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and a nod to Newcastle with Grace Turner.
The first round of Aussie acts included Amyl and the Sniffers, Skegss and WAFIA. The second lineup added the likes of Odette and Haiku Hands to the mix. Altogether, the SXSW stage will be playing host to more than 30 local acts.
