Adding to the theory that every rap/hip-hop show, even ones by fictitious beings, must take place south of the Yarra, Chris Lilley will perform ‘hits’ such as Slap My Elbow and Animal Zoo (seen above) in character as the divisive Angry Boys rapper.
Lilley was spotted in the crowd at the Odd Future show which took place at Prince, maybe he was taking down a note or two?
The show comes after The Vine examined actual rappers’ reactions to the racial and cultural implications of the character.
The show is not to be confused with Modest Mouse’s two Splendour sideshows, which also take place at Prince.
