Better get down to the banks of the Murray.
The sunsoaked Riverboats Music Festival has just unveiled the perfect lineup to see off the end of summer. Once again, next year’s festival will take place in a natural amphitheatre in Echuca-Moama among an abundance of river red gums.
Spread across three days in mid-February, next year’s lineup comes complete with Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning, Eurovision star Kate Miller-Heidke, homegrown legend Bob Evans, alt-rockers Something for Kate, Indigenous singer-songwriter and activist Archie Roach and many others. What’s more, RocKwiz host Brian Nankervis will return to Riverboats to MC the event.
Last year, Riverboats won big at the RACV Tourism Awards, taking home the Best Festival and Event Award for the second year in a row. Riverboats’ paddlesteamer sideshows will be announced soon and are set to include five acoustic performances over the festival weekend.
