Chapel Street’s Zhou Zhou Bar will be transformed into a haven for whisky lovers and dumpling fiends alike on Thursday 19 March – an exclusive event for the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. The experts in Japanese whisky will curate a line-up of Suntory whiskies, an endless supply of dumplings and live music showcasing the best of Melbourne nightlife.
Guests will kick-off the evening with a whisky highball while soaking up the live music and social ambience of Oriental Teahouse’s upstairs drinking den.
The music will be put on hold throughout the evening so that guests can learn about the art of Japanese fine whisky while snacking on bottomless eats served up on a communal feasting table. Expect speciality drops such as Hibiki, Yamazaki and Hakushu (pictured right) as the night goes on.
