Revs is back with Revolver Downstairs

Revolver Upstairs

Enjoy open-air sessions in the Revolver beer garden.

Oh, how good it is to see our favourite Melbourne pubs, bars and clubs reopening. Joining the list of venues we’re welcoming back with open arms is Revolver, but not quite as you know it.

The Chapel Street haunt has long served as a haven for electronic music and all-nighters, though with sweaty nights at Revolver Upstairs off the cards for the minute as a result of the pandemic, the beloved venue is launching a new COVID-safe space: Revolver Downstairs.

  • Revolver Upstairs has transformed its smoking area into a new, COVID-safe outdoor space
  • Revolver Downstairs opens on Thursday November 19
  • The new space will host weekly events until Revs can return to operating as normal

Keep up with the latest local music and venue news by visiting the music news section of our website.

An extension of their ‘smokers paradise’, the open-air beer garden space is the perfect spot for sunset drinks or a summer session under the stars.

Opening on Thursday November 19, Revolver Downstairs will host its first weekly event featuring beers and classic revs cocktails, resident DJs, local artist feature walls and delicious eats from Colonel Tan’s.

They’ll be open from Thursday to Sunday every week, with an aim to fully reopen in the new year. In the meantime, get booking ’cause Revs is bloody back baby and you know everyone will be chomping at the bit to give her a warm welcome.

And, if you do miss out on a spot as a result of capacity limits, you can still get the Revs experience at home by spinning discs from their newly launched record label, Revolver Upstairs Records or revisiting their curated iso playlist.
