Red Betty is throwing a free NYE techno party

December 31 is creeping up and if you’re still not sure how to ring in the new year, Red Betty has you covered.

Fairly new to the neighbourhood, the Brunswick bar has wasted no time becoming a favoured watering hole among Melburnians over the past year. To celebrate the end of 2018, Red Betty will be hosting a free techno party bound to keep you shaking and grooving into the wee hours of January 1.

Techno purveyors Steve Law and g3d9 (AKA Scott Armstrong) will be hitting the decks for the occasion, each delivering their own energy through two electrifying sets that you won’t soon forget, no matter how hard you punish your liver over the course of the evening.

Steve Law is hailed a stalwart in the genre, having first made his mark on the scene in the ’80s. g3d9 is as elusive as they come, with this performance serving as a rare chance to catch him live, so you’re in for a pretty special evening.

Best of all, unlike just about every other New Year’s Eve activity in the city, entry won’t cost you a cent. So put on your dancing shoes and hop to it.
