My happiness is slowly creeping back…

After a ten year hiatus, Aussie rock legends Powderfinger are getting the band back together for an exclusive performance, live streamed from their respective homes, dubbed ‘One Night Lonely’.

Streaming on the band’s YouTube channel later this month, the performance will feature a medley of their hits including ‘My Happiness’, ‘These Days’, ‘Sunsets’, ‘On My Mind’ and loads more, so prepare for some epic sing-a-longs.

The occasion will raise money for Beyond Blue and Support Act; two essential services in the current climate.

“The five of us have been meeting regularly over the past few months to organise some Odyssey Number Five anniversary releases. The idea came up of playing together again in this unusual format which we all thought would be fun,” said the band in a statement.

“The past few months has been a very strange time for us all and difficult days for many. We really just want to bring a smile to some people’s faces and along the way raise some funds to help our music industry mates and people who are currently experiencing mental health issues,” they said.

Join Powderfinger for One Night Lonely on YouTube on Saturday May 23 from 7pm. Sign up to access the gig via the band’s website
