‘Post Malone is releasing an Aussie-exclusive Crocs shoe’ is a factually accurate sentence we can publish in 2019. The original collaboration between the two fashion icons was released in 2018, but Aussies were deprived of a chance to get their hands on it.
Now, as announced earlier this morning via Instagram, Posty said he’s “releasing an exclusive #PostMalonexCrocs for Australia only”. The shoes will be released on Thursday May 9 at 10.00am AEST.
The immediate question to this cultural phenomenon is ‘why?’. However, the follow-up question is ‘why did Malone decide to go with the swampy, camo-coloured design?’. If this is something that’s meant to be, at least go with a less evil colour, such as black.
The limited number of Crocs will be available via the Crocs Australia online store or Culture Kings in Sydney. You may now go on with your day.
