The band’s new album comes out next month.
Legendary alt-rockers Pixies have dropped a handful of Aussie tour dates, kicking off in Melbourne in March. The tour announcement comes ahead of the release of their forthcoming album, Beneath the Eyrie, on Friday September 13.
On their Come On Pilgrim… It’s Surfer Rosa tour, Pixies will be performing two of their most influential releases in full, in addition to old and new tracks from their rich discography.
Despite having formed in 1986, Pixies have only started stopping by Australia relatively recently. Since their reunion in 2004, the band first toured Down Under in 2007, followed by a 13-show tour in 2010 and again in 2017.
