Featuring virtual experiences, live streamed events and loads more.

With doors temporarily closed on Scienceworks, Melbourne Museum and Immigration Museum, Museums Victoria has announced a new virtual experience, Museum at Home.

Museum at Home will allow people to tune into Museums Victoria’s digital channels to see what goes on behind the scenes of Australia’s largest public museum organisation.

“Museums play a vital role in our community, helping us to understand and connect with the world around us, and during these unprecedented and challenging times of physical distancing and self-isolation, it is more important than ever to find new ways to come together,” said Museums Victoria CEO & Director Lynley Crosswell.

Museum at Home will feature a huge range of virtual experiences, educational activities, Q&A sessions with experts, live streamed events and much more.

Head to the Museums Victoria website to check out Museum at Home.
