Mika announces first Aussie shows in 11 years

Get ready for some wholesome singalongs.

Off the back of his fifth album My Name Is Michael Holbrook, Beirut-born pop sensation Mika has announced a run of shows in Australia and New Zealand to kick off 2020.

Recorded in Brussels using vintage synths, My Name Is Michael Holbrook takes inspiration from pop trends across the decades. Dubbed his boldest release yet, the record is a testament to Mika’s evolution as a songwriter.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2007 with his debut album Life in Cartoon Motion, Mika has cemented himself as a pop star. Over a decade on, he is still dishing out bangers.

As well as visiting New Zealand for the first time, Mika will hit stages in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as part of his Revelation Tour. Expect a dose of nostalgia with hits like ‘Grace Kelly’, ‘Love Today’ and ‘Happy Ending’ bound to make an appearance.

Mika hits The Forum on Thursday February 27. Tickets are on sale from 12pm on Thursday December 19.
