As a city at the forefront of change in the music industry with passionate support for the SLAM and #METOO movements, it makes sense that we are to hold this event and showcase music-oriented city to the world.

This year’s convention will be the sixth and the largest to date featuring 45 speakers and 300 attendees from Australia and beyond.

In celebration, Melbourne Museum’s special Nocturnal will be attended by worldwide music industry leaders as part of the 2018 Music Cities Convention by Sound Diplomacy for the first time in the southern hemisphere. As one of Melbourne’s most unique and dynamic music spaces, the Museum will play host to show the world our thriving music scene.

To perform at Nocturnal are two artists with incredible potential for greatness; Ecca Vandal and Birdz.

Nocturnal offers a platform for emerging artists to gain exposure and with Ecca Vandal fresh from releasing her debut album in her feisy and aggressive style and hip-hop artist Birdz releasing his own debut last year.

Nocturnal will run from 7pm to 11pm. Tickets for Nocturnal are $25 Early Bird and $35 at the door.
