The in-house imprint will make its debut release tomorrow with an EP from German duo, Super Flu.

Australian touring and events company Thick As Thieves has launched its own in-house record label of the same name, as a means of continuing to lead the way for Australia’s electronic music scene by highlighting up-and-coming underground acts.

Keep up to date with all the latest music news here.

The label will feature a carefully curated selection of local and international names, gathered across a decade of bringing some of the most exciting techno and house acts to Australian venues over the past decade.

“There’s such creative talent out there pushing the boundaries of sound, and some are bound to get my attention. There needed to be an outlet to introduce those sounds and warm up a few ears prior to taking on these artists at tour-level,” said Thick As Thieves co-founder and director, Mick Toner.

“Here’s a chance for the Thick As Thieves crew to give these artists our best shot at raising the vibration all ’round,” he said.

Having already signed leading international acts such as Monkey Safari and rising homegrown talent like Not Just Me to the roster, the label will make its debut release tomorrow with a three-track EP from German duo Super Flu titled Pancham EP.
