Mayer Park’s debut EP is quirky, personal and relatable all at once.
Melbourne-based indie five-piece Mayer Park unleashed their debut EP Under Construction today, a short but oh so sweet introduction to the genre-defying outfit.
Surveying everything from gypsy jazz to bluesy rock, the four-track EP encapsulates Mayer Park’s sonic dexterity while showcasing their cohesion as a unit. Exploring everything from modern dating experiences to friendship and escapism fantasies, Under Construction is certain to strike a chord with anyone existing in the world today.
Taking their name from the Thornbury park where their first songs were conceived, Mayer Park has grown from vocalist and songwriter Juno Stollio’s acoustic vision into an eclectic quintet.
Comprising Stollio on vox, Michaela Pam on bass, Julian Lauretta on lead guitar, Ajay Johnson on drums and Celeste Elliot on sax, Mayer Park have found their groove and they’re making it known with this exciting debut.
