Featuring Lano & Woodley, Denise Scott, Judith Lucy and more.
Malthouse Theatre bringing the laughs this summer with four new shows featuring six of Australia’s favourite performers (as well as one funny Welshman). Taking place across four weeks in February and early March, the run of shows will go down at Malthouse Theatre’s new outdoor venue.
Eddie Perfect will kick things off from Tuesday February 16 – Sunday February 21 with Introspective, a journey through his two years living in New York writing two broadway musicals.
Then, each Sunday from February 21 until March 14, Judith Lucy and Denise Scott will join forces with Disappointments where they’ll riff on exactly that. From romance to politics and TV, they’ll unleash their grievances in a show that promises to be anything but disappointing.
Next up, Lano & Woodley will bring their ridiculous antics to the Malthouse outdoor stage from Tuesday February 23 – Sunday March 7 (excluding Mondays) because we could all use a little nonsense after the year we’ve had.
And finally, Anne Edmonds and Lloyd Langford will close out the series from Tuesday March 9 – Sunday March 14 with Business With Pleasure. Having spent a big chunk of the Melbourne lockdown together, the pair are inviting us into their world to see what it looks like when two comedians live together. Expect stories, songs, some tense moments and a lot of laughs.
