Lizzo dropped into Foodbank Victoria to help bushfire relief volunteers

100 per cent. That. Bitch.

Currently in Australia for FOMO Festival and a handful of headline shows, US pop queen Lizzo visited Foodbank Victoria to lend a hand to the state’s official emergency food and water relief agency at its Yarraville warehouse.

Foodbank Victoria has been crucial in aiding those affected by the bushfires, sending approximately 3,300 hampers and 66 pallets of water to those impacted by the East Gippsland fires, as well as providing snacks for first responders in the area.

With 400 volunteers working in shifts to sort and pack food donations, Foodbank Victoria has been imperative in providing bushfire victims with food and water.

As well as spending her downtime to pack food hampers, Lizzo also encouraged her 1.43M followers to donate to Australian fire services in a recent Tweet.

Basically, Lizzo has been in the country for a hot minute and has already done more to help with the bushfire crisis than Scott Morrison has done in months.
