Kings of Leon announce new album, ‘When You See Yourself’

Kings of Leon

Kings of Leon are set to return with their first album in five years.

Last year, Kings of Leon re-emerged from the woodwork with ‘Going Nowhere’, their first new music since the release of their 2016 album, WALLS. Now, the iconic rock outfit have announced there’s plenty more where that came from, revealing they’ve got a new album on the way.

Due for release on March 5, When You See Yourself marks Kings of Leon’s eighth studio album and their first full-length release in five years.

As well as revealing news of the forthcoming album, the band has given a taste of what’s to come with the release of singles ‘The Bandit’ and ‘100,000 People’, each accompanied by film clips.

The lead single, ‘The Bandit’, sets the sonic and visual tone for the album, showcasing a sonic evolution while still maintaining the distinct Kings of Leon sound fans have come to love over the band’s 20+ year career.

To celebrate the release of ‘The Bandit’, Kings of Leon have also launched a limited edition ‘Hero T-Shirt‘ for which they’ll be donating 100 per cent of proceeds to Live Nation’s Crew Nation relief fund for live music crews.

The ‘Hero T-Shirt’ will be available until January 15.

Listen to ‘The Bandit’ below.

When You See Yourself is out on March 5 via RCA Records/Sony Music Entertainment Australia.
