Kenny Rogers has died at the age of 81 due to natural causes. The news was announced by his family on Twitter this evening.
A beloved singer, songwriter, actor and member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Rogers is widely recognised for bringing country music to a mainstream audience.
With a career spanning over 60 years and a huge range of hits including ‘The Gambler’, ‘Lucille’ and ‘Coward Of The County’, Rogers well and truly earned his legendary status.
