Get your hands on Julia Jacklin’s ’70s Vintera Telecaster Custom.
Sydney-born, Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin is auctioning off her black, signed Vintera ’70s Telecaster Custom to raise money for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre as part of the charity’s World Refugee Day telethon.
The guitar isn’t the only piece of music memorabilia up for auction as part of the telethon, with the likes of John Butler’s guitar, a signed merch pack from Tim Minchin and a merch bundle from Archie Roach also up for grabs. There are also a heap of other goodies on offer, including lunch or dinner with Judith Lucy, artworks from a range of Australian artists, and much more.
The telethon aims to raise vital funds to support and empower refugees rebuilding their lives in Australia. An essential service amidst the pandemic, ASRC has kept its doors open to help support asylum seekers throughout the shutdown period.
At the time of writing, bidding on Jacklin’s guitar sits at $1,306 and in her words, “It sounds good! It feels good! It will make u look good!” What more could you possibly want?
