Joe Bonamassa unveils east coast tour dates

Joe Bonamassa

The blues-rock guitarist is coming to Melbourne for one night only.

Two-time Grammy nominee Joe Bonamassa has announced plans to tour up the east coast, kicking off in September. It’s the first time the blues-rock powerhouse has played an Aussie headlining tour since 2016.

Bonamassa was born to be a live performer, having started his reputation at a young age. When he was 12, Bonamassa managed to open for none other than B.B. King at one of his shows. Over time, he’s released more than 30 albums and has collaborated with Beth Hart, Black Country Communion and Rock Candy Funk Party and more.

Joining Bonamassa on his tour will be a legendary band comprising drummer Anton Fig, Nashville’s Michael Rhodes, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Reese Wynans, saxophonist Paulie Cerra and trumpeter Lee Thornburg.
