Here’s how you can watch The Cure’s show in Australia

Plus, an extra show has been added.

Tickets for The Cure’s Disintegration 30th-anniversary concert in Sydney have been snapped up for a while now, but it doesn’t mean you’re completely shut out of enjoying the UK outfit’s performance. Plus, if you entered the ballot back in February, there’s still a chance for you to nab a ticket.

Thursday May 2 marks the 30th anniversary of Disintegration. To celebrate the timeless success of their eighth studio album, The Cure have announced an extra show for Thursday May 30, as part of Vivid LIVE. Those who were unlucky in securing a ticket via the ballot will be automatically entered into the draw to buy tickets to the newly-added show.

For those who are completely out of luck, the Sydney Opera House will be livestreaming the fifth and final show from 8pm AEST. Watching the gig online isn’t the same as witnessing the goth rockers in the flesh, but at least no one will hear you belting out ‘Friday I’m In Love’ from your room.

The Cure’s Disintegration 30th-anniversary livestream will take place on Thursday May 30 May at 8pm AEST via YouTube.
