Herb and Chilli Festival returns in March for another scorching year

For those who like it hot.

The Herb and Chilli Festival is bringing the heat to Victoria once more, with a massive lineup of food, classes and competitions kicking off in March.

A huge range of festival stalls, old and new, will be making an appearance, with more than 80 stalls dedicated just to sweet and savoury food. Every ticketholder will also get their hands on a free herb and chilli growing course if they’re looking to bring a slice of the festival home with them. If you can’t get enough of the good vibes, be sure to nab a concert ticket and catch the gig by Aussie pop singer-songwriter Normie Rowe later on Saturday night.

If you’re feeling confident in your chilli cooking skills, you and your team can throw your hat in the ring and potentially come out on top of the 2019 chilli cook-off. Of course, it wouldn’t be a chilli festival without watching a bunch of people burn their tongues out, so be sure to swing by the competition stage to witness exactly that.

Let’s hope no one ends up like poor Homer.
