Hein Cooper is not just a pretty face

Hein Cooper, despite his name, is not a can of soup; on the contrary, he is one of Australia’s premier up-and-coming singer-songwriters.

After releasing his 2016 debut album, The Art of Escape, the success of his smash hit ‘Rusty’ led to Cooper spending that year touring in support of James Bay, and co-headlining with Lanks. He also returned to Victoria briefly for Falls Festival before starting his 2017 zigzag around the world.

Amassing over 140 shows over 18 months throughout Europe, the UK, and North America, Cooper is no stranger to the stage. He also racked up airplay in over 30 countries on over 150 different radio stations.

Following this whirlwind 2017, Cooper has finally released a new single. ‘Hear My Voice’ was conceived in a small chalet in the French Alps, and is about Cooper’s “experiences with falsehood, of hiding behind a version of myself that I’ve built up in a fantasy.” Cooper has also announced a tour supporting the single, which will work its way through Australia in April and May.
