The next album from HAIM will hit the shelves very soon.
Set to return with their first new record since 2017’s Something To Tell You, HAIM have revealed details of their forthcoming album Women In Music Pt. III.
Due for release in April, the record sees the trio of sisters stretching their sound into new territories – from summery pop to striking ballads.
“The name came to me in a dream and I woke up laughing so I told my sisters,” said Danielle of the album, with Alana adding, “I liked it because we are literally women in music and we always get written about that way, so it seemed cool to make it our own and control the narrative. It made me think about some of our experiences more.”
“I just thought it was funny,” Este says. “Plus the initials are WIMP3. Wimp is a hilarious word.”
As well as revealing details of their highly-anticipated third album, HAIM have offered another teaser of the forthcoming release with their latest single ‘The Steps’.
‘The Steps’ joins last year’s singles ‘Summer Girl’, ‘Now I’m In It’ and ‘Hallelujah’, each set to appear on Women In Music Pt. III.
