Grapevine Gathering reveals its corker 2019 lineup

Words by Kate Streader

Prepare your palate for delectable pairings of wine, food and live music because this year’s Grapevine Gathering is bringing you the best of each. In addition to returning to regional Victoria and New South Wales, Grapevine Gathering will also make its way to Western Australia for the first time this year, ensuring west coast music fans aren’t left high and dry.

Leading the lineup is North Irish trio Two Door Cinema Club, who will make their first appearance Down Under since 2017. Their visit comes in the wake of their new album False Alarm, set for release at the end of this month, which means they’ll be bringing a slate of new tunes to the stage.

Joining Two Door Cinema Club on this year’s program is a slab of homegrown talent including Flight Facilities, Crooked Colours, Mallrat, Touch Sensitive, Jack River, Late Night Tuff Guy, Kira Puru, Lovebirds, Big Words, and Arno Faraji.

If that’s not a good enough Riesling to head along, the festival will also host a huge selection of wine, craft beer, cocktails and an array of eats including woodfired pizzas, gourmet burgers, and smoked treats.

Grapevine 2019 will make its way to Grapevine Estate, Victoria on Saturday November 23, Roche Estate, New South Wales on Saturday November 30 and Sandalford, Western Australia on Sunday December 1. Pre-sale kicks off at 6pm on Tuesday June 11 before general sale opens at 11am on Wednesday June 12.
