Here’s to becoming the next Parkway Drive.

Looking for your band’s big break? Good Things Festival might have the answer.

As part of its 2019 event, Good Things is giving three emerging bands the chance to perform at the festival, one band for each date.

Here’s how it works: firstly, you fill out your details into this form. Once submissions have closed, the public gets to have a say in the first round of voting. This is where you get your loyal fan base, your parents, your grandparents and your neighbours involved. Voting will run from Tuesday November 5 until Sunday November 17.

Once fan voting has closed, the top four groups in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane will be invited to perform in front of a panel of industry judges. From there, one band from each city will be selected as the lucky winners.

So what are you waiting for? Get typing.

Check out the dates for Good Things below:

Friday December 6 — Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne VIC

Saturday December 7 — Centennial Park, Sydney NSW

Sunday December 8 — Brisbane Showgrounds, Brisbane QLD

Submissions for Good Things’ competition are open now via Submittable. Tickets for Good Things are on sale now via the festival website.
