BB Sabina

Emerging from winter hibernation for their first band gig in many months. BB Sabina is joined by psych/folk band Texas Milk Bar at the Merri Creek Tavern on Thursday 21 September.

BB SABINA’s music is an immersive experience, drenched in rich guitar tones and emotive lyricism that draws inspiration from living in Mparntwe (Alice Springs). In 2019, BB Sabina collaborated with ARIA-nominated producer Evelyn Ida Morris (Pikelet) to release her debut EP which received airplay on Double J and PBS.

Relocating to Naarm in 2020, BB Sabina (vocals, guitar, synth) is now joined by a new lineup- Warrick Newman (bass, vocals) and Travis Germaine (drums), bringing to life all the dimensions of BB Sabina’s music ranging from immersive psych-tinged dream pop to PJ Harvey inspired rock.

TEXAS MILK BAR are conduits for the enabling of melodic demented musical ramblings.
The four members swore to find their other genetically altered brethren, who all escaped a secret government facility when they were only nine.
In the meantime, however these fools muck around with folk, jazz, spoken word and grunge like it ain’t no thing.
