Brunswick’s much-loved Howler has announced plans to bring back its slate of Jazz Sundays series throughout the year, kicking off Sunday February 17.
Howler’s iconic beer garden will host one jazz-filled afternoon on the third Sunday of every month, offering up the perfect mixture of sun and Sonny Rollins, of chirping birds and music by Bird — you get the idea. The lineup will include some of the city’s best jazz bands and DJs, carefully curated by Melbourne jazzman Greg Sher of the Rookies.
The venue has also sweetened the deal with $5 mimosas which, honestly, sounds like a pretty good offer considering the jazz comes free. The afternoons run between 3pm til 10pm, making Jazz Sundays the perfect way to bring in the working week.
