LA electronic icon Flying Lotus will be taking his audiovisual production, Flying Lotus 3D, to venues around Australia. FlyLo was one of the first two acts recently announced for Mona Foma’s 2020 program and this is his first tour Down Under since 2015.
Very few details have been revealed about the 3D spectacular, but his album, Flamagra, will certainly be making an appearance. Released in May this year, the record features the immeasurable talent of Anderson .Paak, George Clinton, Denzel Curry, Solange, Toro y Moi and… David Lynch?
The production combines 3D screen technology and a psychedelic audiovisual performance to create an absolute funk-infused feast for the senses. The show will be heading to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane shortly after it takes over Mona Foma’s festival hub.
