Five Melbourne gigs to stop by this weekend

Rich Webb

No weekend plans? No problem.

DJs at FAD Gallery

Soul? Yep. Funk? You betcha. Folk AND rock? Well, there must be a DJ on hand. Friday and Saturday night, FAD Gallery in Melbourne CBD’s Chinatown gets taken over by DJs spinning tracks until late. If you’re just after a night of fun and noncommittal good music then the good folks at FAD are your first stop. There’s usually some great art on the walls worth taking a gander at as well. Check how to find them here.

Americana singer Ben J. Carter is returning to the Clifton Hill Brewpub on Sunday July 28 for a night of original blues and folk. Carter has been flaunting his slide guitar stylings since 2015 and the Brewpub has been a regular host. More info here.
