Alice Cotton at Edinburgh Castle Brunswick

Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Alice Cotton will be serenading the crowd at Brunswick’s Edinburgh Castle for a late afternoon set this Sunday Feburary 3. Joined by a backing band of vocals, flutes, keys and bass, Alice will be bringing a set of original songs, touching on folk, country and gospel genres.

Richie 1250s Hip Hop House Party at Red Betty

The elusive Red Betty is putting on a house party and you’re invited. The Richie 1250s Hip Hop House Party will be going down Friday February 1 at 8pm and will be three back-to-back hours of hip hop and RnB, all the way from 1988 to 2003. The best part? It’s free.

Phoebe & The Night Creatures at The Clifton Hill Brewpub

For their first gig of the new year, the Clifton House Brewpub are welcoming Phoebe & The Nightcats to the stage. Going down on Saturday February 2, the five-piece have performed more than 500 gigs and still continue to pack a punch every time.

Keith Harkin at Jazzlab

Irish singer-songwriter Celtic Thunder frontman Keith Harkin is heading to Jazzlab for a night of chart-topping tracks. Harkin has had quite the 15-year career, having performed for Barack Obama, Richard Branson and Mohammed Ali. Now, he’ll be bringing his widely-acclaimed stylings to Brunswick on Saturday February 2.

Dan and Paddy at Compass Pizza

Following their performance at Tamworth, bluegrass duo Dan Watkins and Paddy Montgomery have returned to Melbourne for a gig at Compass Pizza on Saturday February 2. After moving to Melbourne seven years ago, Dan and Paddy have been making their way through a handful of local Melbourne venues over the past two years, including Charles Weston and Edinburgh Castle.
