Melbourne post-punk outfit Bench Press are celebrating the launch of their new EP, Not The Past, Can’t Be The Future, at Northcote Social Club on Friday August 9. They’ll be joined by a huge support lineup of Batpiss, Porpoise Spit and Pinch Points. More info here.

Live Irish music at The Quiet Man Irish Pub 

Every Friday and Saturday, The Quiet Man Irish Pub hosts a night of live music and performance by young Irish musicians. The Flemington Pub is renowned in Melbourne for its genuine Irish ambience and food, while its live performances showcase the best in contemporary Irish music. The performances kick off at 9.30pm.
