Festival No. 23 is Victoria’s new electronic music and arts festival

Combining the world of camping festivals with a luxury resort, The Macedon Ranges will play host to a new electronic festival like no other.

Situated an hour out of Melbourne at Lancemore Macedon Ranges, Festival No. 23 is taking the bush doof experience to a whole new level. Taking place on the hotel’s lush 300-acre site, the festival looks to connect punters with the natural surrounds of The Macedon Ranges while offering a spiritual and literal retreat.

“The environment is really important to us. We needed a place that was accessible and a hidden oasis. The Macedon Ranges site is perfect. It’s got amazing bushland and this awesome hotel infrastructure we’re using to host our dance floors, campsite, workshops, immersive art installations and outdoor activities,” said Festival No. 23 Creative Director, Matt Bonner.

Featuring a freshwater dam, plunge pool, tennis courts and hotel complex, the site seems an unlikely choice for a three-day electronic music party, but that’s what sets Festival No. 23 apart.

Speaking of the music, the festival looks to showcase the genre’s most innovative acts through its huge program of international and domestic artists.

Highlights of the lineup include Detroit-based techno innovator Stacey Pullen, deep house force Osunlade, UK purveyor of house and techno Trus’me, Oceanvs Orientalis, Dave Dinger, Mimi Love, RSS Disco, Wareika, KIKO, Thank You City, Moe Aloha, Anyo, Lucca Tan, and loads more.

While camping is included in all tickets, festival-goers are able to upgrade to glamping or hotel accommodation, depending on the experience they are chasing.
