Dylan Moran is bringing his latest stand-up show to Australia

The Black Books co-writer and star is the king of deadpan comedy.

Irish comedian, writer and actor Dylan Moran is bringing his latest stand-up show, Dr Cosmos, to Australian shores from October, marking his first shows in the country in over four years. Dr Cosmos will make its way around the nation for a two-month run on the back of a critically acclaimed international tour.

A master of wit and wisecrack humour, Moran is no stranger to the screen, having appeared in the likes of Shaun of the DeadNotting HillCalvary and Run Fatboy Run. Although, he’s best known as the grumpy bookstore owner Bernard Black from Black Books.

In addition to his on-screen success, Moran shines on stage; his last stand-up show Off the Hook saw him travel to 149 stages across the world. Touching on everything from the absurdities of everyday life to love, politics and misery, Dr Cosmos showcases the cutting comedic edge that has made Moran a formidable figure in the comedy world.
