Due West Arts Festival Opening Night

Set in the beautiful grounds of Footscray Community Arts Centre, alongside the Maribyrnong River, Due West Arts Festival invites you to an aural and visual celebration of the West.

Led by Indigenous Elders and artists from Melbourne’s West, audiences will participate in the creation of an immersive communal sound sonata as part of an evening filled with music and dancing.

Featuring N’Arweet Carolyn Briggs (AM), Uncle Larry Walsh, Emma Donovan and The Putbacks, Gordon Koang, Aseel tayah أسيل تايه, the indirect Object, Snuff Puppets, John Wayne Parsons, Shauntai Batzke, PASEFIKA VITORIA CHOIR and many more. Composition by James Henry.
