Dr Morse is dishing up some fresh food finds and funky tunes at its sun-soaked Sunday series

Tangerine Dreams is as juicy as it sounds.

If you’re on the hunt for a new brew or a fresh act to groove along to, Dr Morse might just have the answer. The Abbotsford venue will be wrapping up the second batch of its Tangerine Dreams food, drink and live music sessions later on this month.

Tangerine Dreams is a weekly Sunday sesh that brings together tunes from music collective Spin Club and a rotating selection of bites, all within a shady beer garden. Each Sunday, a different brewer or winemaker rocks up to show off their latest concoction and a selection of dishes are whipped up by Dr Morse to complement it.

For the remaining two installations of Tangerine Dreams, the slate of sweet tunes will be dished out alongside servings of sour beer with hot squid on one Sunday and Jumping Juice wine with sardines on toast on the other. Punters can expect to be mesmerised by the tunes of DJs Moopie, DJ Mulch, Matt Story and Jazz. The sessions run for nine hours each, kicking off in the mid-arvo, so you can make the most of the last few weekend rays before the working week returns.

Tangerine Dreams runs for the next two Sundays between 2pm and 11pm at Dr Morse. For more info, head to the Facebook event.
