Dogapalooza returns for 2018 feat. Bec Sandridge, Saatsuma and more

If there’s one certainty in life, it’s that a summer festival — particularly one stacked with top-notch acts, food trucks, and artists — is one of the best possible ways you can whittle away a day outside. But here’s the kicker: Why not add a bunch of dogs to that equation? That, my friends, is where the magic really happens.

Enter Dogapalooza — also known as Melbourne’s very own Coachella for dogs. A quality festival in its own right, the event also makes for a perfect day out with your four-legged friend.

Following last year’s sold-out festival, Dogapalooza is back bigger than ever featuring performances from Bec Sandridge, Saatsuma, and Hayden Calnin. Overall, it’s a lineup that showcases some of the best electronic-tinged indie music you could hope for.

As the old adage goes: come for the music, stay for the food. This year, Dogapalooza is chocked to the brim with the goods. Vegan Shawarma, Jerry’s Vegi Burgers, Bondi’s Funky Pies, Babaji’s Indian, Waffle & Shake Icecream and beer purveyors Moon Dog Brewery will all be on deck.

What’s more, all proceeds directly benefit Oscar’s Law, Puppy Tails, Melbourne Animal Rescue, Greyhound Rescue Victoria, Stafford Rescue, and more — so you can rest easy surrounded by a cavalcade of Melbourne’s friendliest doggos knowing your hard-earned bones are going to a good cause.
