DIIV announce first Australian tour in four years

DIIV on in.

Hot on the heels of releasing their highly-anticipated third LP Deceiver, US dreamers DIIV have announced they’ll be heading our way for an Australian tour in April.

Their first album since 2016’s Is the Is Are, Deceiver sees DIIV exploring new sonic routes. Working with an outside producer for the first time, the band employed the help of Sonny Diperri (Protomatyr, Trent Reznor) to flesh out the record’s rich sonic palette, resulting in a full sound bound to come alive when they bring the record to Aussie stages.

The five-date tour will take DIIV to Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Hobart and Melbourne across the late half of April, marking their first run of Australian shows in four years.

See the tour dates below.

Rosemount Hotel, Perth – Wednesday April 22

Manning Bar, Sydney – Friday April 24

The Zoo, Brisbane – Saturday April 25

Altar, Hobart – Sunday April 26

The Croxton, Melbourne – Tuesday April 28

Catch DIIV at The Croxton on Tuesday April 28. Tickets are on sale now.
