Indie rockers Diamonds of Neptune announce their long-awaited debut album

Diamonds of Neptune
Words by Tim Thorpe

They’ve returned eager, energised and ready to rock.

After taking a short break from performing, Melbourne indie-dream rockers Diamonds of Neptune have reemerged to announce their self-titled debut album.

Exploring tales of life, growth and rebirth, the band say Diamonds of Neptune will transport listeners into a dream-like state with its blend of psychedelic-pop, heavenly guitar tones and hefty synths. The forthcoming project marks the band’s first release since the 2016 single ‘Cynical Nightmare’, which was launched to a sold-out crowd at The Workers Club.

With the album expected for release on Monday October 14, Diamonds of Neptune will be celebrating the launch with a special live performance at the Evelyn Hotel in Fitzroy. The band will be joined by fellow local acts Bloody Ripper and Olympic White, kicking the night off with their punchy funk-punk rock and indie-rock sonics.

Catch Diamonds of Neptune at the Evelyn Hotel on Saturday October 26. Tickets are available now via Oztix.
