Deep Purple have a new album on the way

The rock gods return.

English rockers Deep Purple have announced their 21st studio album Whoosh!, set for release in June.

Formed in 1968, Deep Purple have solidified their status as hard rock legends through a 52-year career and a catalogue of seminal albums including In RockMachine Head and Made In Japan.

Despite being giants of the ’70s rock scene, it was their most recent album, 2017’s inFinite which broke chart records and marked one of their most successful albums ever. Now, they are set to return with a brand new slab of tracks.

Having spent the past five decades exploring new sounds, this is a band not bound by their glory days. Working with producer Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Lou Reed, KISS) for the third time, Whoosh! has been dubbed the most versatile record of the ongoing collaboration yet.

Whoosh! is out on June 12 via earMUSIC. Pre-order the album here
